What an exciting time to serve the Lord and introduce others to His saving love and grace. My name is Tony Medlin, pastor of the brand-new Grace Methodist Church in Seneca.
My wife Sandy and I are honored to be chosen to be a part of this journey. Together we have 4 children, 8 grandchildren and a hyper, loving yellow lab.
Seneca is a beautiful place to live, and every day I am excited for the gift of a rising sun and more God-given opportunities to serve. Not only am I the pastor at Grace but am blessed to be Executive Director at the Residences at Park Place, and the radio play by play voice of Seneca High School football and basketball.
I served as a senior pastor for 25 years, have worked in Hospice and Long-Term Care and am excited about this new season in my life. Sandy is a Hospice care giver, and I am proud of the service she gives to others every day.
Sports is a passion for me, and in my earlier days I played tennis tournaments all over the area. My greatest passion is preaching and sharing the love of Christ with all – especially the broken and “poor in spirit.”
What you would love most about Grace is the people and the spirit of the Lord that is evident when you are in our congregation’s presence. Grace Methodist Church, a new church plant in Seneca, South Carolina, is affiliated with the Global Methodist Church. We began worshipping together in December 2024. Thank you for your interest in working at Grace Methodist Church.
Our ideal candidate will be:
This is a part-time position to begin, with potential for growth. Hours per week – Sunday morning service and additional services per the Christian Calendar.

Our ideal candidate will be:
- Christ-centered and have a strong spiritual background with a genuine connection with God and the congregation.
- a leader for our blended service using both traditional hymns and contemporary music that is both meaningful and well-executed.
- proficient with keyboard and/or guitar and lead the congregation in singing.
- able to read music, sightread and improvise.
- willing to grow our music department.
- willing to work with the pastor and worship committee to plan music for all services.
